The scholarship committee recognizes and awards well-rounded, community-minded students. This scholarship is only eligible for applicants who have not already received it in previous years. Eligible applicants must submit:

1. A written essay (max 500 words) on the following topic: At Gateway we are passionate about our work and helping pet parents in their time of need. Tell us about your passions and career ambitions and how you plan to use them to help make positive changes within your community, educational institution and beyond.

2. A resume highlighting your experience over the past few years, including academic accomplishments, extracurricular and/or athletic activities, leadership experiences, and community/volunteer involvement.

3. Winners will be contacted for a photo headshot to be used for announcing.

Submit your essay and resume through our online application form before the application deadline. All required pieces of the application must be present. Your resume and essay must include your name, email address and phone number.

Email scholarship@gatewayservicesinc.com with any questions you may have about the process.

Applications are due on or before 11:59pm EST on June 30, 2024. Applications are now open.

This will depend on the volume of applicants with a maximum of 20 awards. While we are not able to give a scholarship to everyone, we are committed to ensuring fairness and equitable distribution considering all eligible applicants.

All scholarship recipients will be contacted via phone and/or email. Scholarship recipients will also be announced on the Waterbowl.
